Auditions for Fugitive Songs: A Song Cycle will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 7:00 - 9:00pm at 353 W 48th Street, Studio B.

PLEASE NOTE: The Friday, April 18th auditions have been cancelled. More information regarding additional audition options will be available soon.

Rehearsals will take place 3-4 times per week in Hell's Kitchen, beginning the last week of April. Please note that all actors cast in the productions must be available from 12:00 pm to 11 pm for tech on Tuesday, June 3rd, Wednesday, June 4th and Thursday, June 5th.
Stipends & Payments
To assure we can continue to create opportunities for artists now and into the future, we do not offer a flat, upfront fee to our performers. Rather, we have a "profit sharing" model, where actors earn a percentage of every dollar made from our productions beyond Emergent's break-even point for that specific production.
For every dollar made beyond our break even point, the performers will split a percentage of the net profits for that production.
What to Prepare
Please prepare a one-minute cut of two contrasting contemporary musical theater, pop and folk songs.
A pianist will be provided. Bring printed sheet music for both songs in the correct key, with all cuts and changes clearly marked. (No prerecorded music tracks, or a cappella singing, please.)
A headshot and resume must be presented at the initial audition.
We are looking to cast six performers for this production. Age and type are flexible.
